Where does your camber kit?Â
K-Mac - Australia
sixenligne a écrit : ↑dim. 15 févr., 2015 23:39But you add the weight!!Â

Unfortunately yes - but not that much more than std and much less chance of corrosion trapped between the skins
The cage is 75 kgs so a little more here and there won't hurt - would prefer if it was weight added to rear of car rather than front as it would help with balance.
Car was 1200 kgs fully fueled but without driver
Target for the "Mongrel" is 1100 kgs

I'm getting deja Vu........
Tonight's word on sesame street is SNAP

Turret top is just as scabby but I haven't hit it with a chisel yet

I did however find time to clean up the rear inner wheel arch before I tore another hole in my overalls

Finished a bit earlier than my usual 1am due to running out of "noisy hours" and having very little quiet work left for after the witching hour (10pm)
So I swept the floor under the car and all around and then had a little tidy up (yes that's my tidy - you should see my sh!t tip)
just for amusement and it means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things but I weighed the floor sweepings approx 70% rust from various areas of body cavities never having seen daylight for some time, 20% plasma cutter dust and 10% stones from the kitty litter from Croix that I rolled the Monza into when I ran out of talent (if I ever had any to start with) that have finally been made free (I had a daft plan to save them up to return them next time I go but you guys have changed the venue so I binned them)
I kid you not on the stones front I had rattles on track that I knew were stones and every so often some fell out (last two events with the car RRG2013 and a Snetterton track day several stones escaped but still more were rattling round!!!)

Yes frustrating but at least I have plenty of time to finish it and then build the new 3.7 litre engine

I mentioned Hamlet Cigars just because that always reminds me of Benny Hill parodying the Hamlet advert after wrecking a car or anything else

OPEL POWAAAA!!!!!Â

We've built one so far
Lotus Omega Crank and Rods
Custom oversize Pistons (High comp and pocketed fro valve lift) plus rings from JE

but you need six

5.7 Kg Billet Flywheel to suit Lotus Omega Crank and Getrag 265 Gearbox and Audi S3 Pressureplate

Modified sump to cope with crank throw
Throw in a set of Risse Cams
and you get something like this

1st one went in this with mapped engine management 300 bhp but lots and lots of torque......

Number 2 engine will be similar it's just that it will be old school in terms of ignition and fuel
Same as my 3.0 24V - just much much bigger buckets
